Permadeath
When your character dies, it is gone for good. Your scores live on the leaderboard, and your Echoes carry forward - but the character you built is lost to the void.

D&D-Style Combat

More Than a MUD

Systems layered on the classic formula: your mind is a resource, death is a teacher, and no two runs play the same.

Sanity System

Your mind has hit points. Monster attacks erode sanity, and at low thresholds you fight worse, move slower, and start seeing things that are not really there.

Boons & Banes

Defeating horrors can bless you with boons - or curse you with banes. Stack up to three boons and survive two banes, and choose what to sacrifice when full.

Echoes Meta-Progression

Every death converts your run's score into Echoes, a permanent currency. Spend them on unlocks - extra HP, starting gear, faster regen - that apply to every future run.

Quests & Loot

Accept quests at landmarks, fell rare monsters, and claim loot from corpses. Five rarity tiers, reforgeable stats, and need-before-greed rolls in multiplayer groups.

Choose Your Class

Every life begins with a choice, chosen on first login and after every death. Each class grows different stats and unlocks its own combat abilities.

Bulwark

An unyielding presence against the tide of horrors. Strength fuels devastating strikes; dexterity improves evasion and initiative.

Voidweaver

One who reaches into the emptiness and pulls out power. Intelligence enhances defensive insight; wisdom guards against supernatural attacks.

Stalker

A swift hunter whose dexterity ensures evasion, while strength guarantees lethal damage.

Harbinger
